The scanned image files of Tract Maps, Parcel Maps and Records of Survey are made available to the public by the County Surveyor. The original Tract Maps, Parcel Maps and Records of Survey are on file in the Office of the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder and are available for public inspection during their normal business hours.

The Map Index is a searchable database of all subdivision maps (Parcel Maps and Tract Maps) and Records of Survey on file with the County Recorder's Office and also includes County Surveyor's maps and Corner Records on file in the County Surveyor's office. Most records are linked to a scanned image which can be viewed by selecting the associated DOC LINK column on the left side.
